All Deviations

Something a little different that came to me on a whim.  I suppose individuals who oppose even the possibility of such notions of Otherkin essentially on some level insist on a psychological conformity.  Rather interesting how most supposed psychological disorders in the DSM-IV seem to be simply personality quirks.  So a person is only "normal" if they have no actual personality.  Give me people with personalities instead of "normal" people any day .  I believe that just as there are many different ways in which a person can be defined racially, so can it be in regards to the nature of the soul.  Different classifications as well.  The notion of human beings with a spiritual essence different than the norm makes more far more sense for example than the mainstream christian beliefs.  Far easier to take comfort and safety in trying to be like everyone else rather than being oneself.

Thought about this after Googling some information pertaining to individuals who simplistically and reflexively reduce notions like Otherkin to wrong thinking. Makes one wonder if they are threatened by the notion of Otherkin because their own beliefs are easily shaken by reality. In much the same fashion as christianity.
